Professional My partner and I have been attending Sam’s yoga class for years now. Sam is professional, very helpful and always answers questions with enthusiasm. She is very considerate and considers everyone’s needs in class. Her classes are always varied and since lockdown in March 2020, she has seamlessly taken our practice online. Sam’s classes are the right balance of taking care of yourself physically and mentally while also making sure there is opportunity to push yourself to develop your practice too. , Karen Elger
Amazing Sam’s Yoga classes help me calm and strengthen the mind and body. When I joined the gentle yoga class aged 64 I couldn't raise my arms and the doctor could only offer surgery. However, after a time in Sam’s class I realised that I was able to join my hands over my head. I have muscular skeletal problems and find the flexibility and strength I get from regular classes invaluable. The slow, gentle exercises always relieve my aches and pains and I believe keep me off painkillers. Sam listens and helps the individual to deal with whatever their problem is. By J.S
Very Good I have been studying yoga practice with Samantha for over four years now after starting as a complete beginner. This is the longest time I have ever stuck at anything and that is mainly due to Sam’s patient approach and ability to encourage without judgement. My flexibility and posture have benefited greatly and the breathing techniques she teaches are invaluable. Strength & Flexibility I have been attending Sams class for over a year now as a complete beginner, and I love it. I wish I had started yoga years ago. I have found that my strength and flexibility have improved substantially, but there is still a long way to go ! As important is the impact on my mental well being, as I always feel calm and relaxed after each session. The lessons have certainly helped me to have a more positive mindset, and to cope better with the grieving process I was going through. By L.W
Amazing I came to Sam's yoga classes following too many years of regular exercise including long-distance running. The legacy of this was pretty much constant knee pain in both knees, as a lot of runners will be familiar with, plus extremely poor flexibility. I had spent a lot of money and time with physios over the years with no long-standing benefits.Within a few short weeks of attending Sam's classes, really just 3 or 4 classes, I was completely free of knee pain and have remained so. I have occasionally included some runs into my exercise programme without any issues. I would not have done this previously.I have now trained with Sam for over 4 years and it's an essential part of my weekly routine By Paul Conion
Feeling Uplifted I am so grateful to Sam for helping me to maintain my emotional, as well as my physical, wellbeing- having heart, mind and body in sync feels wonderful and this keeps me fit and well to deal with the pressures of a busy life as a single mum and front line NHS worker. Sam's classes have sustained me through some difficult times over the last few years.
